Seikonic L-308S

Cheap little flashmeter. Keeps me in check and makes sure I don’t overexpose my frames. Saves me time from chimping off of the camera’s LCD screen. One of the most inexpensive (or perhaps the most-inexpensive) flashmeters on the market. Reads ambient or flash light conditions and provides you an aperture based upon your shutter speed. Doesn’t work the other way around. For what it’s worth it’s exactly what I need until I take it outdoors and need to read and set aperture/shutter for a mix of flash and ambient.

Pros: Easy to use. Runs on AAA’s. Inexpensive
Cons: Doesn’t provide shutter based on aperture (there is work-around though)
