Success!
The weekend update. Totally awesome.
The weekend started off with a 3 mile run with Larry and later taking pictures of my 4-pack, going to the airport to pickup Eugene, then drinking at a 1020 in Arcadia. Saturday morning we went paintballing at Conquest Paintball, then went to Fogo de Chão for dinner (where the cuts of meat were superbly delicious). After that we headed back to my house for some Cohibas (yes the brand of Cuban) cigars with Brandy. Later on we headed over to Spearmint Rhino’s (gentlemen’s club) which was my first experience in a strip club (more on this later). Afterwards we played poker until 6am where all my friends let me win. On Sunday, ate lunch at Ah Zhong Noodles in the Focus Plaza which while being the spectral opposite of Fogo de Chão was just what our empty stomachs needed. Taiwanese soul food for the win! To cap off lunch we went to Nubi Yogurt which is basically Pinkberry+ as there are more selections of yogurt, more toppings, and it’s cheaper! The icing on the cake was getting a cheap foot massage which was great for my back, neck and shins. After that we went back to the Focus Plaza to walk around and I bought some dried prunes at Aji Ichiban.
The entire “Bachelor Party” spanned 2.5 days but felt like a single stream of consciousness without breaks starting from Friday night. This was made possible by Paul’s planning and dedication and all my friends that I shared this experience with. Thanks everyone for a first-rate experience and some pretty awesome memories!
