Simply Amazing
Today, I took reception of the Nikon D3.
After all the hassle I went through with Dbuys.com; calling their customer support 5 times and being on hold over an hour total, it’s finally here.
As I mentioned in a previous post, the Nikon D3 is the successor to the D2X which was the successor to the D2HS which was the successor to my D2H. This replaces the 5 year old professional Nikon body that I’ve been using since 2004 now.
And my how things have changed.
I am blown away by the quality of the pictures this machine takes. The improvements in technology and “intelligence” in the camera is astounding. The ability for the camera to know exactly what settings to use in order to maximize realism is incredible. And the beauty of it is that it requires such little adjustment on my part, it just “knows” what is required of it.
