11’s Revisited

Upon weighing myself again yesterday, I realized that I was once again in the 11% fat range. Even more surprisingly was that I was at 11.1% fat. Admittedly I was well hydrated but that’s not unusual as I weigh typically myself as late as possible to rehydrate from my workouts.
The thought that I could potentially break into the 10’s crossed my mind yesterday. Although that would be a pleasant surprise, I feel that I have not stabilized in the 11’s long enough to dip into the 10’s. I’m not exactly sure why that’s bad because a decrease in body fat has no implication on muscle mass, but too much change in a short amount of time worries me.
A couple notes that cross my mind but aren’t worthy of an entire post:
- I think I’m underestimating the number of calories in my parfait. I put granola and raisins in it. Furthermore it already has blueberries, raspberries, and peaches.
- I think I might have overestimated my volleyball calorie expenditure yesterday. I adjusted it downwards to reflect a decreased level of intensity (as compared to last week), however I am not sure if it accurately represents my per minute caloric expenditure.
- I really need to put in a good resistance session today. I will incorporate some of the things I’ve learned from the cardio calisthenics workout that I’ve been doing to increase the intensity. But I want to make sure I’m still bench pressing the same amount (or more) of weight.
- None of my clothes fit anymore. Well, except the ones that used to be too tight on me. My fitted dress shirts fit like parachutes (see above picture). My pants are hardly held up by my hips and vaguely look like MC Hammer’s in “U Can’t Touch This”. Man, MC Hammer was popular like sooo long ago…
