Bora Bora 2008 Mid-Week Update
September 1st
Time to leave the Four Seasons Wailea. As we’re getting ready to leave the room we find out our flight is delayed 4 hours! Too late now, get to the airport, and Catherine’s cousin still has his rental car so we drive to Lahaina to chill. We finally board around 6pm and I get around 4 hours of sleep. Got home around 3am. Slept around 6am after cleaning up, doing laundry, etc!
September 2nd
Flew out from LAX to Papeete, Tahiti at 4pm. Got in to Papeete at 10pm. Uneventful 8 hour flight. Watched Made of Honor, Kung Fu Panda, and part of 88 Minutes. Played chess, backgammon, read a little ate 2 small-portioned meals.
Got to Le Meridien in Papeete, Tahiti. Even though I wasn’t too tired, I still slept around 11pm.
September 3rd
Wow, Papeete is gorgeous. More specifically Le Meridien is a very pretty resort gorgeous! The water, the sky, unbelievable!
Flew out of Papeete around 2pm. Got into Bora Bora around 3pm. Took like 100+ pictures from the plane. Even though the window was blurry the view was amazing. Bora Bora, Moorea, and the other little islands are gorgeous! Read a little about Bora Bora on the plane.
Took a boat ride from Motu Mute to Le Meridien! I think I took at least 100 pictures on the boat going 30mph hanging onto the rail with 1 arm and holding the camera with the other arm. Took a quick tour of the premises and took a bunch of pictures! Amazing views! Gorgeous resort!
Got to the overwater bungalow! Wow! Even better than the pictures promised! Took a bunch of strobe shots! Then went to plan our activities!

Went to use the Internet and took more picture! While waiting for dinner I got a quick workout in. Hungry as hell though!
Dinner was just average. Buffet-style. In retrospect the people at the Four Seasons Maui were much nicer and polite. The food in Maui was also better. This buffet was no good.
Came back, showered and time to go to bed! Sharks tomorrow! The water is cold though!
