Why John McCain Lost the Election
People point the finger at his incompetant presidential VP running-mate Sarah Palin.
People point the finger at the fact that he coudln’t show he was any different from George W. Bush.
But the reality is that John McCain couldn’t win the election no matter what he did or who he was. John McCain lost because he ran under the Republican Party and with the current situation under Bush, people would not vote in another Republican. He could have been Donald Trump. Hell, it could have been our beloved Bill Clinton running as a Republican and Obama still would have won. There is no one out there today who could run under the Republican Party in this election and beat Barack Obama.
Of course it did not help that McCain was an old Caucasian man who in every respect symbolized the problems of the current regime but he lost because he was a Republican.
